EV charger installation in Stockholm
Want to charge your EV at home in Stockholm? We install charge points safely and to regulation, with the right fusing and earth-fault protection.

How it works
We review your consumer unit, run the supply and mount the charger at your address in Stockholm. We also help housing co-ops with charging solutions for multiple bays.
Good to know
- A charge point is safer than a normal socket for an EV
- Often needs its own circuit and RCD protection
- May qualify for grants and the ROT deduction
- We recommend the right power output for your car
Home EV charging – the situations we solve
A new electric car in the driveway and a charging cable in an ordinary wall socket? That is how many people start – and exactly why they end up calling us. Ordinary sockets are not built to deliver high power hour after hour, night after night; the risk is heat building up in the outlet and wiring. A wallbox on its own fused circuit is the safe, convenient answer, and with scheduling you can shift charging to the night hours.
We install chargers at detached and terraced houses – on façades, in carports and garages – and also in freestanding garages some distance from the house, where the cable route is usually the deciding factor. For housing associations (BRFs) it is more often a row of charging points sharing the building's available capacity. Load management, per-socket energy metering and room for future expansion then belong in the plan from day one.
How the installation works
From first call to first charge – this is how we work, whether it is a single villa or a whole association.
- 1. Needs review – we ask about the car, your driving pattern, the main fuse and where the box should go; a few photos of the consumer unit and the spot usually suffice.
- 2. Proposal and quote – charger, power output and any load balancing are chosen to suit the house, not the other way round, with the scope described up front.
- 3. Installation – a dedicated circuit from the consumer unit, the correct residual current protection (type B, or a charger with built-in DC protection) and solid mounting.
- 4. Commissioning – we test-charge against the car, configure the load balancing and help you set up app control if the box supports it.
- 5. Handover and documentation – you know how the charger works, how to follow your charging, and exactly what was installed.
Good to know before you book
The power output has to suit both the car and the house. A three-phase box at 11 kW is more than enough for most homes – the car is parked all night anyway – but it requires three-phase supply at the charging spot. Single-phase works too; charging is slower but often perfectly adequate for a plug-in hybrid. With dynamic load balancing, the charger monitors the whole house's consumption and temporarily reduces charging power when the hob, oven and hot water are drawing their most, protecting the main fuse without you having to think about it.
Installing a wallbox counts as fixed electrical installation and may only be carried out by an authorised electrical installation company under Swedish rules – a wrongly connected charger is a safety risk. State support may be available for some installations; check the current conditions with Naturvårdsverket (the Swedish EPA) and Skatteverket. If you live in a housing association, the board needs to approve the installation – we are happy to prepare the technical basis for that decision.
- Location – the distance between the consumer unit and the charging spot affects the scope of work
- Main fuse size – decides how much power is available for charging
- Single-phase or three-phase at the spot – determines the possible charging power
- App control, scheduling and energy metering – decide what you want before choosing the box
- BRF: board approval, shared load management and billing per charging point
